As a child Solomon grew up next to an orphanage where he befriended many of the orphan kids. Together they played, studied, and worshipped God. And, as Solomon got to know his friends, he wondered where they came from and how they would survive when they left their orphanage…

Ashok's Story
“This is Ashok, I joined Lighthouse children home when I was in my 5th grade, graduated my school in 2016. Later I joined college and completed my BBA degree (Bachelor of business administration) and MBA degree. For 13 years I was a student in Lighthouse children house and the Lord helped me to work for LH for 4 years also. I joined LH home since my family was not able to afford me with good education. I have no parents they passed away, I was unable to get proper education because of poverty, family situations and financial needs, I moved to LH home and got good life and care.
I accepted Christ as my Savior, I learnt to Pray and read Bible and walk with God. I also learnt to cook well. God gave me many good friendships. Now I’ve been working and taking care of my business and my myself well. I thank Pastor Solomon and sis Clara for this opportunity and guidance. Thank you”

Praveen's Story
“I’m Praveen. I have been in Lighthouses children’s home for the past 18 years. I joined LH home in 2004. The Lord helped me to finish my schooling by 2016. I graduated from college and completed BCA degree. Im the first graduate in my family. After coming to LH home, I have Educated, discipline, God’s love and to pray to God.
I joined Lighthouse home because my family couldn’t afford for my education, my father was a drunkard wanted to kill me. After joining Lighthouse home, I learnt music, singing and many more skills.
I thank God for giving me all the blessings. I also want to thank Ps Solomon and Sis Clara for taking care of me like parents and providing me with Good education, clothing and food. Thank you”
